Magnetize the tube. Any abnormalities will have the flux pattern leak from the surface as a result of a defect.

-
Must be used on magnetic materials, with no OD limitations, and wall thickness up to 5/8” wall.
-
Good for ID & OD sensitivity. Can inspect flash in material.
-
Minimal contact required, product has to be cool to the touch.
-
Can inspect aluminized and coated materials.
-
Can inspect rounds and profiled cross sections.
-
Ideal system for structural mills, meets ASTM and ROPS standards NDT

System Information

-
Parameters to set up = Current, Gain
-
Can only be used with Magnetic Material
-
Can inspect ID Scarf-in or ID Scarf-out Material
-
Does not have the “skin effect” on coated material
-
Minimum OD = 0.500” (12,7 mm) and up
-
Can test up to 0.625” (16 mm) – Small. Large and Extra Large systems available.
-
Calibrates 10% notches, and 0.03” (0.8mm) holes
